CLAT(Common Law Enternace Test) is an exam conducted once a year by NLU(National Law University). The scores of clat is accepted by 21 law universities and 43 law institutes. Before the introduciton of clat, various law institutes conduced their own enterance exams which which led to conflict in schedules of various exam which resulted in many studebnts missed their exams. To Apear for clat exam an applicant should have completed 10+2 or equivalent exam from national or stateboard and secured atleast 45% for general and 40% for students belonging to sc/st. There is no upper age limit for applicant appearing in clat exam. The clat question paper consist of mcq;’s on maths, english and gk. for each correct answer 1 mark is awarded andd for each wron answer 0.25 mark is deducted. The clat question question paper consist of 200 mcq’s. The exam is usually held in month of may . Around 60000 candidates apply for exam every year.
